Teas We Love Iced: Four More Organic Teas for Summer
Part Two of Our Summer Series
Welcome back to our summer blog series celebrating the art of organic iced tea! Our first issue featured four favorites — Jasmine Green, Dry Desert Lime, Damiana Relax, and Mate Lemon. Today, we’re back with four more teas that shine beautifully over ice: Aged Earl Grey, Moroccan Mint, Rooibos Chai, and Damiana Focus. Whether you’re reaching for something bold and citrusy, cooling and herbaceous, naturally sweet, or gently clarifying — there’s a glass here with your name on it. Grab your tallest glass and let’s dive in!
Where Warmth Meets Cool
Part of the joy of iced tea is how familiar ingredients transform completely when iced. A tea you’ve loved hot for years takes on an entirely new personality cold — what was rounded and warming becomes crisp and bright; and, what was delicately floral becomes vivid and alive. Summer is the perfect invitation to rediscover teas you already love in a completely new way. These four are extraordinary examples of that transformation.
This is also a good moment to remember why organic matters in your glass. With Numi, every cup starts with the highest-quality certified organic tea and botanicals — no pesticides, no artificial flavors, no compromise. What you taste is exactly what’s in the bag: real ingredients, real care, real flavor. We believe great iced tea starts at the source. With longterm partnerships and direct relationships with gardens, we ensure the purest and cleanest cup.
Four More Teas Worth Chilling
Our next four teas — Aged Earl Grey, Moroccan Mint, Rooibos Chai, and Damiana Focus — bring a range of flavor stories to your summer glass, from boldly bergamot-kissed to cooling and minty, from naturally honeyed to herbally clarifying. Each one is extraordinary cold. These are some of the best teas to make iced at home; plus, they make wonderful summer tea recipes for entertaining. Scroll down to the bottom for instructions on how to make iced tea using tea bags or loose tea.

There’s a reason why this is the #1-selling black tea in natural food stores nationwide. Full-bodied and smooth, organic Assam black tea black tea scented with the bright citrus flavor of real Bergamot orange. Over ice, it’s one of summer’s great pleasures. The bergamot becomes more aromatic and vivid, while the black tea stays rich and full without any bitterness, and the whole cup takes on a citrusy elegance that is deeply satisfying. If you love a classic iced black tea but want something more refined, this is your summer ritual. (For more potency, try Aged Earl Grey loose.)

Few teas are as timeless refreshing as mint over ice. Numi’s Moroccan Mint is inspired by the beloved tradition of Moroccan mint tea — a centuries-old ritual of hospitality and warmth practiced across North Africa. Over ice, those spices transform into bright, aromatic, and cooling. Naturally caffeine-free and brimming with antioxidants, it’s as beautiful iced as it is hot — and makes a spectacular iced chai latte with your milk of choice. Also available loose.

A Few General Tips to Perfect Your Iced Tea
Brew it strong. When making iced tea, use a little more leaf or an extra bag — the ice will dilute it, and you want that flavor to stay bright and present.
Cool it before you ice it. Pouring hot tea directly over a glass packed with ice will melt the ice quickly and dilute your tea significantly. We recommend cooling your brew to room temperature first, then pouring over ice. Skipping this step will also make your tea cloudy.
Specialty Beverages: Any of these iced teas can be blended with lemonade, sparkling water, a spirit or all three. Get creative and share your concoctions with us on Instagram at @numiorganictea
Don’t skip the garnish. A garnish isn’t just pretty — it adds aroma, a little flavor pop, and makes the experience feel special. Iced tea is a small ritual worth celebrating.
