Fair Trade Certified™ organic green tea.
Tea Bags: As a Chinese Emperor once did, bring fresh water to a boil, cool slightly, then allow leaves to gently fall into your cup. Steep 2-3 minutes. For iced tea, steep 2 tea bags, cool and pour over ice.
Our organic green tea is harvested by the Tuija people of Enshi, China. Since becoming Fair Trade in 2006, they have built new roads and a hospital, while their wages have increased.
The top leaf and bud are plucked and briefly dried, and then pan fried or steamed to prevent oxidation. Rolling and curling the leaf creates unique flavors and shapes that are finished with a final firing.
